CALL FOR POSTER ABSTRACT ONLY
The New Jersey State Nurses Association and Institute for Nursing invite you to submit abstracts for presentations at the 2020 NJSNA/IFN Convention on October 14-15, 2020 at Harrah’s Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, NJ. The 2020 Convention theme is “Surviving to Thriving: Put Your Oxygen Mask on First…Promoting Resilience in Nursing. “
Convention Goal:
Promote excellence in nursing practice by engaging in a variety of educational opportunities that address the skills needed to sharpen leadership abilities so that nurses can manage the challenges faced by the profession in the next decade and beyond.
Instructions for Abstract Submission
- The abstract should not exceed 250 words excluding title, authors and institutions.
- The abstract must relevant to the conference theme: Surviving to Thriving: Put Your Oxygen Mask on First…Promoting Resilience in Nursing. “
- The material in the abstract should be of original work with the focus clearly stated.
- All abstracts must be submitted via email with “2020 NJSNA/IFN Convention” in the subject line.
- Please save the abstract in a word format (.doc or .docx) with the title “contact person’s last name NJSNA/IFNConvention2020_abstract” and submit to Debra Harwell, BA, Deputy Director via email deb@njsna.org before May 15, 2020.
- Contact hours will be awarded for the poster presentations by the IFN Provider Unit, an accredited provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation.
- Applications will be reviewed by the Institute for Nursing Provider Unit and applicants will be notified if their abstract has been accepted by May 29, 2020.
